  • Support day-to-day HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, and employee experience initiatives.
  • Provide guidance to leaders on routine employee relations matters, performance conversations, documentation, and policy interpretation.
  • Escalate high-risk or complex matters, including terminations, accommodations, legal nuance, or sensitive investigations.
  • Support recruiting priorities, hiring manager alignment, interview coordination, offer processes, and onboarding handoff.
  • Administer and support Paylocity/HRIS workflows, reporting, onboarding packets, employee data, and system troubleshooting.
  • Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, employee questions, payroll deduction reviews, and employee education.
  • Administer and coordinate FMLA and ADA leave accommodation processes, including communication with employees, leaders, and third-party administrators.
  • Support onboarding and new hire orientation to create a positive and organized start for new employees.
  • Assist with compliance, policy administration, employee engagement, training coordination, LMS administration, and HR process improvement.
  • Help strengthen HR processes, documentation, tools, and resources as the People Operations function continues to evolve.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience across HR operations, employee relations, recruiting support, benefits, compliance, HRIS administration, and manager support.
  • Experience supporting a small-to-mid-sized organization preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations documentation.
  • Experience with FMLA, ADA accommodations, benefits administration, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Strong HRIS/HCM system experience
  • Ability to build trust with employees and leaders while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and consistency.
  • Strong communication, organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
  • A people-first, service-oriented HR mindset with the ability to balance kindness, support, compliance, and business needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.

This is a hybrid role based in Vandalia, OH, with a minimum onsite expectation of three days per week. Specific onsite days may vary based on business needs.

This is a strong opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being hands-on, building relationships, improving processes, and supporting a people-first culture. This role will play an important role in helping employees and leaders feel supported while strengthening the structure, consistency, and service delivery of the People Operations function.
