Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Level A / Level I to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintaining and repairing diesel & CNG. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy duty truck maintenance, diagnostics, and repair to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our fleet. You will work on various equipment, including tractor-trailers, and be responsible for troubleshooting mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel and CNG engines.

Diagnose issues with air brake systems, shocks, struts, and other components.

Utilize schematics to identify problems and implement effective solutions.

Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.

Collaborate with service technicians to address complex mechanical issues.

Ensure a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role in heavy duty truck maintenance. This includes experience with air brake systems, hydraulics, shocks, struts, and tractor-trailer maintenance.

Strong knowledge of diesel engine components and systems, particularly Cummins, Detroit & Caterpillar engines.

Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.

Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
