The Role

We are seeking an Application Analyst to support, configure, and optimize our core enterprise applications. This role requires an analyst who is proficient in a wide range of standard IT procedures within the application domain and can work independently to deliver on project-level goals with minimal oversight. As the hands-on expert for your team’s technology domain, you will leverage a deep, practical understanding of applications and infrastructure to resolve complex, non-routine technical issues. You will be responsible for navigating how application workflows intersect with adjacent teams, such as Networking and Software Engineering, ensuring seamless cross-functional integration.

You will play a key role in defining and advocating for the team’s technical standards, helping to establish ‘the right way’ to do things while role modeling a supportive, team-first mindset.

What You’ll Do

Application Delivery & Problem Solving

  • Independent Delivery: Manage your own time and tasks within a broader project plan, delivering

  • project-level goals with minimal oversight.

  • Complex Troubleshooting: Resolve moderately complex technical application problems, or issues

  • that do not have routine solutions, that may require investigation but fall within your domain.

  • Application Health: Apply standard procedures to ensure application health and effectively

  • mitigate system interruptions.

  • Process Improvement: Use best practices and knowledge of functional issues to improve

  • application processes, designs, or services.

Technical Proficiency & Standards

  • Standard Procedures: Utilize your proficiency in a wide range of standard IT procedures (e.g.,

  • application configuration, system integration monitoring, data validation) to maintain system health.

  • Advocating Standards: Play a key role in defining and advocating for your team's technical

  • standards and best practices, establishing "the right way" to execute application support and configuration.

Collaboration & Context

  • Team Alignment: Understand the responsibilities of adjacent teams within the broader IT function

  • (e.g., how the networking or database team's work enables application support) and clearly understand how your work intersects with theirs.

  • Team Support: Actively connect with peers to both ask for and offer help. Role model proactive communication and a supportive team-first mindset.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in application support, systems analysis, or a related technical field.

  • Proven experience managing your own time and delivering project-level goals with minimal oversight.

  • Demonstrated ability to resolve moderately complex technical problems that require investigation.

  • Experience defining technical standards or best practices for an

  • application team.

  • Knowledge of technology systems, OSS, BSS, or web platforms

  • in one or more areas.

  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices and ITSM tools (e.g.,

  • ServiceNow, Jira)

  • Familiarity with: Python, JavaScript, and SQL, RHEL/Linux commands and administration

  • Monitoring and log management tools (e.g., Grafana)

  • Version control systems (e.g., GitLab)

  • Scripting and process automation

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. The salary range indicated includes a Short Term Incentive Plan (“STIP”) which represents a percentage of your Base Salary based on the achievement of individual and corporate objectives; The STIP payment is calculated based on a formula that takes into account several factors, including, without limitation, corporate and individual performance measures. The STIP payment is conditional upon meeting all of the STIP’s eligibility requirements.
