Training Coordinator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Training Coordinator based in United States.

This remote role offers an opportunity to support large-scale training and education initiatives across a nationwide affordable housing portfolio.
The Training Coordinator will play a key part in organizing learning programs, managing training systems, and improving operational effectiveness.
This position combines project coordination, technology support, communication, and administrative expertise to deliver impactful learning experiences.
The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure training activities are well-organized, accessible, and effective.
The role provides visibility across multiple functions while contributing to initiatives that support communities and enhance service quality.

Accountabilities:

The Training Coordinator provides essential coordination and administrative support for training, education, and quality initiatives. The role focuses on ensuring smooth execution of learning programs, maintaining training systems, supporting communication efforts, and contributing to strategic projects.

  • Coordinate training events, annual meetings, learning series, and leadership network activities, including scheduling, materials preparation, registration, and logistical support.
  • Host and support live virtual training sessions and webinars, including technology setup, participant management, facilitation assistance, and attendance tracking.
  • Monitor training completion rates, prepare participation reports, and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Manage learning management system (LMS) operations, including course catalogs, user accounts, enrollments, completion records, and troubleshooting.
  • Support customer service requests by coordinating follow-ups, documenting issues, and escalating sensitive matters when needed.
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of training standards, policies, procedures, and communications.
  • Maintain accurate records related to policy acknowledgment, training participation, and compliance activities.
  • Provide administrative support for leadership networks, including agendas, meeting materials, minutes, and project coordination.
  • Manage special projects and additional assignments to support organizational priorities.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings strong coordination, administrative, and project management skills, along with experience supporting training programs and digital learning environments. This role requires excellent organization, communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum of five years of administrative and/or project management experience.
  • Experience with learning management systems and online learning platforms required.
  • Experience coordinating and hosting live online webinars or virtual training sessions preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules, documentation, reporting, and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
  • Knowledge of HUD and LIHTC programs is desirable.
