The Operations Regional Field Manager is responsible for leading regional field operations, developing employees, improving processes, and ensuring service excellence. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, operational discipline, and the ability to manage distributed teams while maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a remote team of 20+ field specialists, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and employee development activities.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of new team members.
- Manage daily regional operations, including workload distribution, staffing capacity, resource planning, and service execution.
- Monitor key operational metrics such as quality, productivity, utilization, accuracy, customer satisfaction, cycle time, and SLA compliance.
- Analyze performance reports, identify improvement opportunities, and implement action plans to address operational gaps.
- Perform quality reviews and audits to ensure service delivery meets internal standards and customer requirements.
- Provide coaching and corrective actions based on quality findings and performance trends.
- Support escalated customer concerns and collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational challenges.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures, documentation standards, and business requirements.
- Drive process improvements, technology adoption, and operational initiatives that improve efficiency and team performance.
- Maintain accurate reporting and documentation while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the region.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in operations leadership, remote team management, and service-focused environments. They should have proven success building engaged teams, improving performance, and managing complex operational priorities while maintaining excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of experience in insurance claims, restoration, field services, operations leadership, or a related industry.
- Proven experience managing remote employees and leading distributed teams.
- Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams through coaching, feedback, and employee development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational data and drive improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder management abilities.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service experiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professionalism.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business reporting tools.
- Experience with property claims, contents inventory, field operations, or insurance workflows is preferred.
- Knowledge of workforce planning, capacity management, Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to travel occasionally for team observations, coaching, customer visits, and business needs.
