• Develop, maintain, and enhance core AI platform services with a strong focus on scalability, performance, security, and observability.
• Design and implement production-ready generative AI solutions, including intelligent agents, RAG pipelines, workflow orchestration, and integrations with LLMs and external tools.
• Build and evolve distributed systems using Node.js, Python, and Java, including RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and streaming architectures.
• Integrate microservices, legacy systems, and AI platforms while ensuring reliability, consistency, and traceability across services.
• Design and optimize asynchronous, event-driven architectures using messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ and BullMQ.
• Model, optimize, and maintain relational, NoSQL, and vector databases, implementing effective caching, embedding, and data consistency strategies.
• Contribute to frontend enhancements in React and TypeScript when necessary to support end-to-end product delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, including those related to AI models and non-deterministic system behavior.
• Maintain high engineering standards through automated testing, AI evaluation frameworks, code reviews, and software development best practices.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, Data, and AI teams while actively participating in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Extensive experience developing backend applications with Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience building Python services and APIs, particularly for AI-powered applications.
• Hands-on expertise implementing generative AI solutions using frameworks such as LangChain, RAG architectures, AI agents, and leading LLM APIs.
• Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience designing, developing, and versioning RESTful APIs and WebSocket-based services.
• Ability to work across the technology stack, including maintaining and extending React/TypeScript applications when required.
• Proficiency using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar, with the ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in multidisciplinary product teams.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to perform effectively in complex, fast-changing environments.
• Nice to have:
  • Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone and semantic search architectures.
  • Knowledge of observability tools, distributed tracing, structured logging, and AI quality monitoring.
  • Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Previous experience in digital health, healthtech, or other highly regulated industries.
