Job Description
Description:
Rehza Inc is preparing for commercial growth and seeks an entrepreneurial, relationship-driven Director of Sales to build and execute a repeatable revenue engine. Reporting to the COO, this leader will personally develop new business, recruit and onboard home builders and strategic partners, expand the vendor marketplace, establish disciplined sales operations, and help shape Rehza's go-to-market approach. The role combines hands-on selling with strategic sales leadership in an early-stage technology environment focused on simplifying the homeownership journey.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the sales strategy, annual revenue plan, channel priorities, and territory/account approach in alignment with company objectives.
- Build, qualify, and manage a high-quality pipeline of home builders, service providers, strategic partners, and other organizations within the homeownership ecosystem.
- Personally lead complex B2B sales cycles from prospecting and discovery through solution presentation, negotiation, contracting, onboarding, and expansion.
- Recruit and onboard home builders; build trusted executive relationships; and negotiate mutually beneficial partnership agreements.
- Develop referral, alliance, and channel partnerships that expand market reach and accelerate customer acquisition.
- Recruit high-quality service providers for the vendor marketplace and support marketplace standards, partner performance expectations, and growth strategies.
- Establish CRM discipline, pipeline stages, activity standards, forecasting methods, dashboards, and regular reporting to the COO and executive leadership.
- Define and track sales performance indicators, including pipeline coverage, conversion rate, sales cycle length, customer acquisition, revenue, retention, and partner activation.
- Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, product announcements, sales enablement content, thought leadership, digital lead generation, and brand-awareness initiatives.
- Represent Rehza at industry conferences, builder meetings, trade events, podcasts, webinars, and other speaking or networking opportunities.
- Gather market intelligence on customer needs, competitive positioning, pricing, and emerging trends; convert findings into practical sales and product recommendations.
- Partner with product, operations, marketing, finance, and leadership to ensure customer commitments are realistic, onboarding is effective, and feedback informs company priorities.
- Recommend pricing approaches, incentive plans, future sales staffing, territories, and commercial infrastructure as the business scales.
- Coach and develop future sales team members and create repeatable playbooks, scripts, qualification standards, proposal tools, and onboarding processes.
- Maintain accurate records, protect confidential information, and conduct business in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Remote position requiring a reliable, professional home-office environment and dependable internet access.
- Regular use of computers, phones, video conferencing, CRM systems, and other office technology.
- Ability to remain stationary and communicate by phone or video for extended periods.
- Occasional travel and attendance at in-person meetings, conferences, or industry events.
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, real estate, technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience.
- At least 8 years of progressive B2B sales, business development, strategic partnerships, or revenue-growth experience, including at least 3 years in a sales leadership or director-level capacity.
- Demonstrated success building pipeline, winning complex accounts, negotiating commercial agreements, and achieving revenue or customer-acquisition goals.
- Experience selling technology, SaaS, marketplace, real estate, home-building, home-services, fintech, proptech, or another solution with multiple stakeholders and consultative sales cycles.
- Strong CRM, forecasting, reporting, account planning, and sales-process discipline.
- Executive presence and the ability to communicate credibly with builders, owners, senior leaders, partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, entrepreneurial environment, prioritize competing demands, and thrive amid ambiguity and change.
- Ability to travel periodically for customer meetings, conferences, partner development, and company events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing relationships within residential construction, home builders, real estate, mortgage, title, insurance, home services, or the broader homeownership ecosystem.
- Experience launching a new product, market, sales motion, partner program, or startup revenue function.
- Experience with subscription revenue, marketplaces, channel partnerships, and recurring-revenue models.
- Experience developing sales compensation plans, hiring sales talent, and building sales playbooks or enablement programs.
- Master's degree in business or a related field.
