TEST ENGINEER in Lissone, Maryland at Alfamation Spa

Since 2024, it has been part of the electronics division of inTEST Corporation, a multinational group listed on the stock exchange and based in New Jersey.

In a technological and innovative context, we designed and developed customized tools and test solutions for our customers from the initial definition of requirements to after-sales service.

For our Monza site, we are looking for a Test Engineer:

Reporting to the Test Application Engineer Manager, you will test automatic systems for functional testing of electronic devices, specifically, you will be responsible for:

- Performing hardware test validations (HDW) on test systems independently, using our proprietary software platform

- Identifying the root causes of any issues that may arise and implementing appropriate solutions

- Preparing test reports

- Updating test procedures and system checklists

- Installing systems and providing on-site or remote support to ensure proper operation

- Ensuring excellent customer experience

- Keeping documentation on system development standards up to date

- Performing quality checks on final products to ensure compliance with current regulations

Who We’re Looking For:

- Technical diploma, preferably in electronics

- Strong ability to use major laboratory tools

- Excellent knowledge of measurement techniques

- Solid understanding of common buses and communication protocols (I2C, CAN, UART, TCP/IP, etc.)

- Good written and spoken English skills

- Strong problem-solving skills

- Excellent customer management abilities

- Flexibility and a proactive attitude

- Strong team-working capabilities

- Knowledge of National Instruments software environments such as TestStand and LabVIEW is considered a plus

- Availability to travel worldwide
