FMI is seeking an Industrial Security Specialist to support the Facility Security Officer in maintaining security procedures to ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), company policies, and government regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process personnel security actions including visit requests, access requests, indoctrinations, debriefings, and clearance verification activities
- Support access control operations, visitor management, and specific program security administrative functions
- Support document accountability and the proper safeguarding, storage, transmission, and destruction of classified material
- Conduct security briefings and provide guidance to employees regarding security policies, procedures, and reporting requirements
What We Need From You:
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and maintain an Active Secret clearance throughout employment.
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 1-2 years of experience (Information Technology, Military, or Security-related) in a similar position (experience may substitute for Degree).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 and security databases such as DISS, NISS, and NBIS
- Strong attention to details and organization
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing tasks
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- High ethical standards and integrity

Monday to Friday
