Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing essential administrative and clinical support to our healthcare professionals, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our medical practice.
Duties and Responsibilities- Greet and room patients, update their medical records.
- Assist healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medication as directed.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, stocking supplies and ensuring that equipment is properly maintained.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing them with information and instructions as needed.
- Comply with all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centered care and a willingness to go the extra mile to support our patients and healthcare team.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a completion of a medical assistant training program or certification.
- Blood draw / PRP experience is a plus
- Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and basic office software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other team members.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and organized medical records.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate and empathetic, with a genuine desire to provide exceptional patient care.
