Physician Assistant (Fingerlakes Center for Living) in Auburn, New York at Auburn Community Hospital

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: obtaining health histories and performing physical examinations, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, medication and treatment regimens. The physician assistant functions as an adjunct to the doctor.

Authorized physician assistants certified by the New York State Education Department to use the title “Physician Assistant” and engage in the expanded practice of nursing. This may include the performance of primary health care services and the issuance of prescriptions. The Physician Assistant will practice within the guidelines of the written practice agreement and practice protocols. Physician Assistants must have a supervising physician agreement with a physician privileged to work at FLCL.

Requirements:

Must possess current licensure as a Physician Assistant in NYS. Must have at least 2 years of experience as a physician assistant. Must possess demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.

Salary: $70.00/hour
