Description:

JOB OVERVIEW: Responsible for supporting multiple venues as well as members of IMCMV’s Human Resources team including the VP of HR, Director of Employer Relations and the HR Manager. This role will coordinate and facilitate various Human Resources tasks by performing the following duties:

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

  • Reviews and evaluates support procedures to promote increased work productivity and efficiency.
  • Maintains active communication and assists venues and corporate office with various systems support functions, including I-9 compliance, background checks, metrics reporting, hiring and HR related functions.
  • Assists with current HR trends and legislation updates and communicates changes to venue management.
  • Assists with company Hotline and supports labor relations investigations.
  • Answers venue management and staff member’s HR related questions.
  • Serves as a liaison between the venue and the HR team.
  • Supports sourcing an
  • d hiring, including the organizing and assisting with job fairs and new venue opening.
  • Under special circumstances only, flexibility to work Holidays and Weekends.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Updates staff member status changes and manages employee transactions in the HRIS system.
  • Supports venue management with unemployment, employment verification and benefits process.
  • Facilitates staff member on-boarding activities, including the processing of new hire paperwork and inputting of employee information into the HRIS.
  • Assists, promotes, and coordinates staff engagement activities, programs, and events.
  • Provides administrative support for department members including; word processing, spreadsheet creation, PowerPoint presentation creation, mailings, letters/memo’s, copying, assembly, and filing.
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned or determined by Management.
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures as established in the Staff Member Handbook.
Requirements:

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • One (1) to Three (3) years coordinator/support experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with other departments and outside contacts.
  • Ability to complete a heavy workload and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Good judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, expertise in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience and knowledge using HRIS systems.
  • Strong organization, planning, attention to detail, time management, and follow-through skills.
  • Adheres all information in a confidential and ethical manner.
  • Team player; ability to work well with one or multiple individuals or departments.
  • Demonstrates a great level of creativity, problem solving, good judgment, and decision-making abilities.
  • High initiative with a strong sense of urgency and flexibility.
  • Strong attention to details.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor in Human Resources or related field.

OTHER:

  • Minimal travel may be required.

  • Ability to write and communicate effectively.

Mathematical Skills?Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all unites of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
