Key responsibilities

Sales and commercial performance

• Take ownership of sales performance across the assigned store portfolio.

• Set and communicate daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.

• Monitor store sales, conversion rates, average transaction value and units per transaction.

• Identify underperforming stores, products and employees and implement corrective action plans.

• Drive promotional campaigns, new-product launches, upselling and cross-selling.

• Analyse store and product performance to identify sales opportunities.

• Ensure each store contributes to company sales and profitability targets.

• Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.

• Evaluate promotion results and provide recommendations for future campaigns.

• Monitor competitor activity, local retail conditions and customer trends.

Store leadership

• Lead, coach and hold Store Managers accountable for results.

• Conduct regular store visits, performance reviews and one-to-one coaching.

• Support Store Managers in managing sales teams, rosters, attendance and productivity.

• Build a strong sales culture based on accountability, product knowledge and customer service.

• Identify high-potential employees and support succession and development planning.

• Participate in recruitment, interviews, onboarding and probation reviews.

• Address performance or conduct issues in coordination with Human Resources.

• Ensure store teams understand company policies, targets and operating procedures.

Customer experience

• Maintain consistent customer-service standards across all assigned stores.

• Ensure employees provide knowledgeable and professional fragrance recommendations.

• Monitor customer feedback, complaints, refunds and service issues.

• Investigate recurring complaints and implement corrective action.

• Ensure stores deliver a premium and welcoming customer experience.

• Support customer-retention, loyalty and repeat-purchase initiatives.

Inventory and merchandising

• Coordinate with Operations and Inventory Planning to maintain appropriate stock levels.

• Review out-of-stock products, slow-moving products and store replenishment requirements.

• Ensure new products, promotions and testers are available and displayed correctly.

• Monitor stock accuracy and support cycle counts and stocktakes.

• Investigate excessive stock variances, damages, tester usage and inventory losses.

• Ensure visual-merchandising standards, pricing and promotional materials are consistently implemented.

• Recommend stock transfers between stores based on demand and sales opportunities.

Store standards and compliance

• Ensure stores comply with company procedures, opening and closing requirements and cash-handling controls.

• Monitor cleanliness, maintenance, presentation and workplace safety.

• Ensure employee rosters are commercially appropriate and within approved labour budgets.

• Conduct regular store audits and document required corrective actions.

• Escalate significant operational, employee, inventory or customer risks.

• Support new-store openings, relocations and store-improvement projects.
