SCOPE:

The Sales and Operations Support Specialist (Agency Support) will provide essential assistance to the sales and marketing team. The role involves them assisting insurance agents with onboarding, licensing, appointments, commissions, policy support, and general agency service needs. This role serves as a liaison between agents, internal departments, and insurance carriers to ensure timely processing and excellent customer service.
This is a remote opportunity, and the ideal candidate will be seated in the Miami Dade or Broward Country area.

DUTIES:

Key Responsibilities

• Assist agents with onboarding and appointment processes.
• Review applications and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Process agency updates, terminations, reinstatements, and ownership changes.
• Communicate with agents regarding missing documentation and compliance requirements.
• Support commission, sweep account, and billing-related requests.
• Maintain accurate notes and records in Salesforce.
• Coordinate with underwriting, licensing, accounting, and management teams.
• Monitor pending items and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
• Provide professional customer service via phone and email.
• Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous insurance agency or administrative support experience preferred.
• Knowledge of agency licensing and carrier appointment processes is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
