Sr. Production Team Lead - 3rd Shift in Jeffersonville, Indiana at REVERE PLASTICS SYSTEMS

The 3rd Shift Sr. Production Team Lead directs daily shift operations and serves as second-in-command to the Production Supervisor, leading team members to consistently meet safety, quality, production, and efficiency expectations. In the Supervisor's absence, this role manages the shift, makes operational decisions, addresses employee concerns, coordinates resources, and ensures continuity of operations. This position is ideal for a proactive, positive, engaging leader who takes initiative, builds relationships, holds people accountable, leads by example, and wants to develop into a future supervisory role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shift Operations: Coordinate daily production to meet schedules and customer requirements; monitor staffing, downtime, scrap, and efficiency; resolve or escalate issues; and partner with Maintenance, Quality, and Materials.
• People Leadership: Provide direction, coaching, and feedback; recognize strong performance; address attendance, performance, and conduct concerns; and support onboarding and cross-training.
• Safety, Quality & Improvement: Promote a strong safety culture, enforce SOPs and quality standards, and engage employees in reducing waste and downtime.
• Administrative Support: Assist with production reporting, shift documentation, attendance tracking, shift handoffs, and production meetings.

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or leadership training preferred.
• Manufacturing experience required (plastic injection molding preferred); prior Team Lead or informal leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and train employees, including cross-training on SOPs, safety, and quality.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; able to resolve conflict and manage competing priorities.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Able to work 3rd shift with consistent attendance.
