This role sits at the intersection of finance, analytics, and healthcare revenue cycle performance, supporting critical decision-making across client portfolios and internal finance teams. You will be responsible for transforming complex financial and operational data into clear forecasts, insights, and actionable recommendations that directly impact net patient revenue and cash performance. Working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment, you will collaborate with finance leaders, operational teams, and client stakeholders to ensure accuracy, transparency, and strategic alignment. The position blends deep analytical rigor with business storytelling, requiring both technical fluency and strong communication skills. You will also contribute to process improvement initiatives and support the evolution of reporting frameworks and forecasting models. This is a high-impact role where your insights help drive financial outcomes and operational efficiency across healthcare clients.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting that support revenue cycle performance and client financial outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and provide actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain forecasts for Net Patient Revenue (NPR), cash collections, and revenue cycle performance indicators
- Analyze trends in patient volume, payer mix, acuity, service lines, and reimbursement rates to explain financial variances
- Support NPR Lift analytics by measuring the financial impact of operational improvements and efficiency initiatives
- Produce monthly reporting and variance analysis for internal finance leaders and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with operations and accounting teams to align revenue assumptions and validate financial projections
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, enhance data quality, and streamline forecasting tools
- Provide ad hoc analysis, dashboards, and executive-level summaries to support decision-making
The ideal candidate brings strong financial acumen, analytical expertise, and experience working with complex healthcare or revenue cycle datasets. You are comfortable translating data into insights and presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3+ years of experience in financial analysis, revenue cycle analytics, or healthcare finance
- Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with financial modeling and forecasting
- Knowledge of revenue cycle management concepts, Net Patient Revenue (NPR), or healthcare reimbursement structures is a plus
- Experience working with large datasets and tools such as SQL, Power BI, Business Objects, or similar platforms is preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present insights to stakeholders and leadership
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment
- Openness to innovation and improving processes, including use of modern analytics tools and AI-assisted workflows
