  • Lead legal efforts supporting origination, negotiation, and closing of renewable energy real estate transactions in the United States.
  • Manage a high-volume pipeline of deals and coordinate closely with origination, pricing, legal, and portfolio management teams.
  • Draft and negotiate complex commercial real estate agreements and transaction documents.
  • Oversee due diligence processes, including lease terms, cash flow analysis, and asset-level risk assessment.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on strategic transactions, commercial structuring, and portfolio risk considerations.
  • Support underwriting activities related to renewable energy assets and infrastructure investments.
  • Ensure alignment between legal documentation, investment strategy, and operational execution.
Requirements:

This role requires an experienced commercial real estate attorney with strong exposure to renewable energy projects and the ability to operate independently in complex, fast-moving environments.

  • 6–12 years of experience as a commercial real estate attorney, ideally within both a law firm and in-house renewable energy developer environment.
  • Strong understanding of solar, wind, and battery energy project development, financing, and operations.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and draft complex real estate and commercial agreements.
  • Strong business judgment with the ability to balance legal risk and commercial objectives.
  • Excellent written, oral, and analytical communication skills.
  • Comfortable working remotely and leveraging modern collaboration tools.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong collaboration skills and intellectual curiosity.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package aligned with senior-level expertise.
  • Exposure to a fast-growing global renewable energy and infrastructure investment portfolio.
  • Remote-first work environment with collaboration across international teams.
  • Opportunity to work directly with senior leadership on strategic transactions.
  • High-impact role influencing renewable energy infrastructure expansion.
  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial culture focused on learning and professional growth.
