Medical Assistant in Boise, Idaho at The Allergy Group

As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. This position is for Monday thru Friday with a Saturday rotation. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. We have 6 offices, in the Treasure Valley, so this is a traveling position. You will work with 7 amazing providers who make you feel like family. Responsibilities

• Room patients
• obtain vitals and medical history
• Allergy skin prick testing
• Patch testing
• Venom testing
• Nitrous oxide and spirometry
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms
• Administer allergy shots during walk in shot clinic
• Subcutaneous injections
• The ability to work with multiple providers in different locations
• Monitor and process medication(s) prior authorizations
• Phone Triage

Skills

• Proven working experience as a medical assistant
• Knowledge of medical office and EHR
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Social perceptiveness
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
• ECW experience preferred
