This role sits at the intersection of HR systems, data, and digital transformation, supporting the evolution of a global people platform used across multiple international businesses. You will play a key part in configuring, maintaining, and enhancing Workday modules that power core HR, payroll, and absence processes. The environment is highly collaborative, global, and mission-driven, with a strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement. You will work closely with People Platform teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable system solutions. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex HRIS challenges and improving how people systems operate at scale. Your work will directly contribute to enabling accurate, compliant, and efficient HR operations across multiple regions.
In this role, you will support the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Workday HR systems, with a focus on Core HCM, Payroll, and Absence modules. You will collaborate with global stakeholders to translate business needs into system solutions while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and scalability. Your responsibilities include:
- Configuring and maintaining Workday Core HCM, Payroll, and Absence modules
- Analyzing business requirements and translating them into system designs and configurations
- Supporting payroll integrations with third-party vendors such as tax agencies, banks, and benefits providers
- Performing root cause analysis and resolving system and payroll-related issues
- Coordinating testing cycles for system enhancements, releases, and updates
- Supporting Workday biannual release management and ensuring readiness for new features
- Maintaining documentation, audit readiness, and end-user training materials
- Participating in change control processes and ensuring proper governance of system updates
- Collaborating with global HR and People Platform teams to improve processes and scalability
The ideal candidate brings 3–4 years of experience working with Workday or other HRIS platforms, with strong exposure to Core HCM, Payroll, and Absence processes. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred, and Workday certification is a plus. You should be comfortable working in structured environments that require accuracy, confidentiality, and strong attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with HR systems configuration, business process frameworks, and reporting is highly valued. A proactive mindset, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to continuous learning will be key to success in this role.
- 3–4 years of experience in Workday or HRIS platforms
- Strong knowledge of Workday Core HCM, Payroll, and Absence modules
- Experience in system configuration, testing, and support
- Understanding of payroll processes and HR system integrations
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work with confidentiality and manage sensitive data
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; Workday certification is a plus
