Prior Authorization Clerk - Oncology in West Plains, Missouri at Ozarks Healthcare

The primary responsibilities are to verify insurance coverage for both new and existing patients in order to process patient prescription orders in a timely manner while demonstrating excellent customer service to patients, healthcare professionals and insurance carriers. Responsible for completing necessary functions to ensure optimal reimbursement for high-cost medications. Assess patient's insurance coverage, handling all appropriate prior authorization paperwork, assisting patients in receiving any and all applicable financial assistance to aid them in obtaining their prescriptions for the lowest possible dollar amount. Responsible and accountable to know and understand knowing OZH's vision, mission, values, standards, policies and procedures.
