Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

What You'll DoAs a Machinist, you will:
- Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools to manufacture precision components
- Load, verify, and adjust machine programs
- Select and install tooling, fixtures, and workholding devices
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections
- Measure parts using:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Height gauges
- Bore gauges
- Dial indicators
- Other precision inspection equipment
- Adjust offsets and tooling to maintain tight tolerances
- Perform preventative maintenance and basic machine maintenance
- Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace utilizing 5S principles
- Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and production personnel
- Complete production documentation accurately
- Follow all safety policies and OSHA requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of machining experience or completion of a 2-year technical machining program
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Working knowledge of G-Code and M-Code
- Understanding of tooling selection, feeds, and speeds
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail
Experience with:
- CNC machine setup
- Haas, Mazak, Okuma, or similar controls
- GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- CAM-generated programs
- Lean Manufacturing
- Continuous Improvement initiatives
