Recruitment Manager
Australian BPO

Position Summary

The Recruitment Manager is responsible for leading and continuously improving ESC’s end-to end recruitment function.

The role ensures the delivery of efficient, scalable, and high-quality recruitment services that support the company’s growth objectives, while providing an outstanding candidate experience.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Recruitment Manager will oversee all recruitment activities, manage recruitment systems and processes, provide market intelligence and remuneration guidance, and ensure recruitment best practices are consistently implemented across the organisation.

This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic planning, operational management, recruitment delivery, process improvement, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Recruitment Management
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment activities from job briefing through to onboarding.
  • Ensure vacancies are filled efficiently and within agreed timelines.
  • Partner with hiring managers and clients to understand recruitment requirements and priorities.
  1. Candidate Experience
  • Ensure all candidates receive a professional, respectful, and positive recruitment experience.
  • Maintain timely communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Protect and enhance ESC's employer brand through professional candidate engagement.
  1. Recruitment Systems & Reporting
  • Maximise utilisation of the JazzHR platform to improve recruitment efficiency, reporting, and candidate management.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records, pipeline reporting, and recruitment metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement.
  1. Market Intelligence & Workforce Planning
  • Provide advice on salary levels, benefits, allowances, work arrangements, and labour market conditions.
  • Support workforce planning through market research and recruitment forecasting.
  • Monitor recruitment trends and recommend improvements to talent attraction strategies.
  1. Talent Attraction
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive candidates
  • Design and manage outreach campaigns targeting high-quality candidates who may not be actively seeking new opportunities.
  • Build and maintain talent pools for future hiring requirements.
  • Utilise job boards, job expos, social media, referrals, networking, and direct candidate engagement to expand candidate reach.
  • Ensure a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future recruitment needs.
  1. Team Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and support our current recruitment officer, and any future recruitment team members.
  • Establish performance expectations and development plans.
  • Foster a professional, customer-focused, and results-driven recruitment culture.
Qualifications & Experience

Essential
  • Minimum 5 years' recruitment experience, including leadership responsibilities.
  • Experience managing end-to-end recruitment across multiple role types and industries.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing candidate sourcing and outreach strategies.
  • Experience engaging and converting passive candidates who are not actively seeking new employment opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of ATS platforms and recruitment technology.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills.
Preferred
  • Experience within a BPO, outsourcing, shared services, or high-volume recruitment environment.
  • Experience using JazzHR or similar Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Experience supporting Australian, US, and/or international clients.
  • Exposure to using AI technologies to support recruitment strategies.
