Job Description

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) works closely with the company's managers to develop HR agenda that will support the overall goals of the company. He/she coordinates with the management to put in place the policies and practices of the employees of the company that are aligned to the operational needs of the business.

Note: Project-based role

What does a day in the life of an HR Business Partner look like?

  • Administers behavioral interviews on all supervisory and managerial internal candidates and partners with the hiring manager on final hiring, transfer, and promotion decisions
  • Facilitates and documents skip-level meetings, FGD, coffee sessions, HR Huddles, and NHO within Cluster
  • Conduct employee new hire orientation/training to foster a positive attitude towards organizational objectives
  • Conducts exit interview of resigning employee and prepare a monthly summary report of the same for the information and basis of action of management including RAG Tagging
  • Review disciplinary action of cases to erring employees
  • Prepares the Monthly Suspension/Termination/Separation Report for submission to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)
  • Proactively supports the delivery of HR Processes
  • Actively identifies gaps, proposes, and implements changes necessary to cover risks
  • Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management
  • Designs succession plans for key talents and key job positions
  • Builds a strong business relationship within Cluster
  • Acts as a single point of contact for the employees and managers in the business unit and cluster
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What are the required qualifications of an HR Business Partner?

  • Must have at least 1 year experience as an HR Practitioner – HR Specialist, HR Generalist or HR Officer
  • Holds a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or any related field or equivalent knowledge and understanding
  • Exposure to Human Resources Management, Hiring, Developing Standards
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with employees and suppliers at all levels
  • Knowledgeable in any HRIS
  • Knowledgeable in MS and Google Office
