Gilliatte General Contractors is seeking Qualified Candidate to join our team as a full time Warehouse Coordinator. Warehouse experience is preferred with a safe driving record. Your experience in the construction industry will benefit you while you collaborate with your co-workers in the construction field.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Safety is a key part of everything we do, so maintaining a safe work environment will always be a priority.
- Your main responsibility will be delivering tools, equipment, and materials from our warehouse to job sites throughout Indianapolis and the surrounding counties.
- You'll help keep our warehouse vehicles and equipment in good working order, including trucks, generators, gas-powered tools, and electric tools, making sure they're ready when the team needs them.
- You'll receive incoming inventory, keep it organized, and make sure deliveries are properly recorded and stored. You'll also help track inventory levels, compare physical counts to our inventory system, and resolve any discrepancies that come up.
- Keeping shelves stocked and supplies replenished will be an important part of the role as well.
- You'll work closely with both our field and office teams to help keep the warehouse operations running smoothly, efficiently, and cost-effective.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed to support the team and our operations.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Comfortable anticipating challenges and finding solutions before they become problems.
- Able to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and adjust to updated deadlines as needed.
- Familiar with smartphone features such as maps, contacts, internet searches, and other everyday apps.
- Organized with strong attention to detail.
- Preferred experience with data entry and using inventory management software or systems.
- Able to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
- Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) review and a background check.
