Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin at Endres Insurance Agency Inc

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customer Service Representative to join our team and work in Commercial Lines. Key Responsibilities:

- Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel

- Collect, record, and process payments

- Investigate and resolve billing issues, creating receipts as needed

- Enter and update client information into the Client Management System and Carrier Website databases

- Communicate with customers and others to gather necessary information

- Process policy changes upon client or Account Executive requests

- Cover Commercial Claims responsibilities in the absence of the Claims team member, following through on submitted claims

- Correspond with insured clients or agents to obtain information or inform them of account status and updates

- Review and compare application details with policy documents upon policy acceptance

- Examine correspondence from policyholders and ensure proper documentation and follow-up

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in customer service, administrative support, or insurance-related roles

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent organizational and data entry skills

- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately

- Knowledge of insurance policies, billing procedures, and claims processing is preferred

- Proficiency in using client management systems and online databases

- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing priorities

Interested applicants must be willing to get licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance in the State of WI within 90 days if not already. Endres Insurance does pay for a pre-licensing course. Endres Insurance will also reimburse applicant after a passed licensing examination for the exam fee.

This is an in-office position. We do offer occasional remote work in instances of bad weather or as approved by office manager, but we want the applicants to understand this is in general, an in-office position.

Hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with a 30 min lunch or 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with a 60 min lunch based on applicant preference.

Salary is dependent on experience.
