Marketing Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Coordinator is a versatile marketing generalist who supports the day-to-day marketing needs of an assigned company, business unit, or brand. The role coordinates content, communications, digital media, events, branded materials, and campaigns that support business growth and strengthen brand visibility.

The right person is organized, creative, and responsive, and works comfortably across many priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position partners with company leadership, internal departments, vendors, and the broader Marketing team to move projects from first request to final delivery while holding to established brand standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate marketing projects, campaigns, and requests from planning through completion.

  • Support the creation of social media content, written communications, presentations, promotional materials, and other branded assets.

  • Assist with photography, video, digital media, website updates, email marketing, and content scheduling.

  • Coordinate company events, client engagements, sponsorships, trade shows, recruiting initiatives, and community activities as assigned.

  • Gather project updates, photos, employee stories, and business highlights from internal teams.

  • Maintain marketing calendars, project trackers, files, asset libraries, and approval records.

  • Communicate status, deadlines, needs, and potential roadblocks to the right stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with designers, photographers, videographers, printers, promotional vendors, and other external partners.

  • Review materials for accuracy, consistency, brand alignment, and quality before distribution.

  • Support proposals, award submissions, company profiles, and other business-development materials.

  • Track marketing activity and provide basic reporting on campaigns, content, events, and completed work.

  • Provide general marketing support as the priorities of the organization evolve.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Two or more years in marketing, communications, public relations, event coordination, business-development support, or a related field.

  • Strong organizational and project-coordination skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Strong attention to detail, proofreading, and quality control.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders at once.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.

  • Working knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, social platforms, or comparable tools.

  • Ability to follow established processes, brand standards, and approval requirements.

  • Professional, dependable, and proactive, and comfortable working with employees at every level.

  • Availability for occasional after-hours company events and local travel as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.

  • Experience in business-to-business, construction, manufacturing, professional-services, or multi-company environments.

  • Experience with social media management, email marketing, event coordination, photography, videography, or basic graphic design.

  • Familiarity with project-management, content-scheduling, website, CRM, or digital-marketing platforms.

  • Experience supporting a growing company or marketing across multiple locations or departments.
