Journeyman Electrician - Residential Services in Sarasota, Florida at Erwin Electric

We are a W/MBE and DBE certified electrical contracting corporation experienced in commercial, industrial, residential, and government work. Erwin Electric, Inc is currently seeking a Journeyman Electrician - Residential Service in the Sarasota/Mantee Area.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide High level of customer service and professionalism.
• Experience with completing custom homes from start to finish.
• Assemble and install electrical equipment, conductors, lighting, devices and associated. material to meet all requirements of the customer’s scope.
• Perform Testing, Upgrades and Repairs to electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure that installations are completed in a neat and workmanlike manner and adhere to NEC and Florida Building code requirements.
• Maintain company provided tools and manage truck stock inventory levels.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years in the trade.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in residential service.
• Prior experience with lighting control systems, whole house generators, dock power.
• Journeyman card. (Years of experience in lieu of card may be considered)
• Valid Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record.
• Clean criminal background check & able to pass a drug test.
• Neat and professional appearance.
• Troubleshooting experience is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use hands to hold, feel, or reach electrical components.
• Stand, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, or crawl for extended periods of time.
• Adequate close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
• Ability to regularly lift and move 50 lbs. – 100 lbs.

Compensation

• $24 - $30 hourly.
• Total compensation is based on experience and/or licensing. Candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance will receive top pay.
