Sr. Director, GTM Strategy & AI Automation

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Director, GTM Strategy & AI Automation based in United States.

This is a transformational leadership opportunity focused on modernizing go-to-market operations through AI, automation, and scalable workflow design.
You will shape the strategy for simplifying complex Sales, Partner, and Revenue Operations processes while reducing operational friction.
The role combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership of enterprise automation and AI enablement initiatives.
You will work closely with Sales, RevOps, IT, Architecture, Security, Finance, and Partner teams to turn business priorities into scalable solutions.
Your work will directly influence sales productivity, win rates, partner satisfaction, operational velocity, and the quality of GTM data.
The position is ideal for an experienced transformation leader who can operate confidently across technical and executive environments.
Success will be measured through adoption, efficiency gains, measurable ROI, and the creation of a sustainable GTM automation framework.

Accountabilities
  • Define and lead the strategic vision for GTM workflow modernization and automation across Sales, Partner, and Revenue Operations functions.
  • Evaluate existing processes and establish a roadmap focused on simplification, automation, scalability, and reduced operational friction.
  • Architect scalable workflows that improve sales productivity, partner experiences, and RevOps efficiency while aligning with enterprise technology standards.
  • Establish governance frameworks, automation principles, and best practices in collaboration with IT, Architecture, Security, and Governance teams.
  • Lead the delivery of enterprise-ready automation using platforms such as n8n, Glean, custom GPTs, and related AI and workflow technologies.
  • Drive the development and adoption of AI copilots, intelligent assistants, and AI-enabled processes that improve Sales, Partner, and RevOps effectiveness.
  • Identify high-value automation opportunities across representative workflows, partner operations, and internal RevOps processes.
  • Lead strategic transformation programs involving Sales, Partner, RevOps, IT, Finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Partner with business leaders to prioritize initiatives based on their potential impact on rep efficiency, win rates, partner satisfaction, and operational scale.
  • Manage roadmaps, stakeholder alignment, program execution, and communications for major GTM automation initiatives.
  • Translate business objectives into clear automation requirements that technical and systems teams can implement within established architecture frameworks.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement to support the rollout, training, documentation, communication, and adoption of new workflows and AI capabilities.
  • Develop organizational readiness plans and enablement programs to ensure successful adoption of new technologies and processes.
  • Track and communicate automation performance, including ROI, efficiency improvements, adoption levels, and other measurable business outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement and establish a scalable automation operating model capable of supporting long-term business growth.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, GTM Strategy, Sales Operations, Partner Operations, Business Systems, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience leading automation, AI enablement, or large-scale GTM transformation programs.
  • Strong expertise in designing automated workflows and AI-assisted business processes within complex B2B SaaS environments.
  • Deep understanding of Sales and Partner operating models and the key drivers of rep productivity, win rates, partner satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrated experience working extensively with IT, enterprise architecture, security, data, and systems teams.
  • Proven ability to translate complex business objectives into practical technical and automation strategies.
  • Experience deploying or managing AI copilots, GPT-based solutions, Glean assistants, or comparable AI technologies for Sales, Partner, or Revenue Operations teams.
  • Experience scaling automation capabilities, establishing automation governance, and implementing enterprise-wide workflow standards.
  • Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience within SaaS, high-growth technology, or compliance-intensive environments is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong strategic thinking, program leadership, problem-solving, and change management capabilities.
  • Ability to balance long-term transformation strategy with practical execution and measurable near-term results.
  • Demonstrated ability to champion AI adoption, stay current with emerging technologies, and identify innovative applications for business challenges.
