About the role
- We are seeking a Cincinnati-based, part-time Digital Producer (20 hrs/week) to lead day-to-day production for our flagship NFL show, Check the Mic w/ Steve Palazzolo & Sam Monson. This is a hands-on, in-studio role for a multi-disciplinary producer who can run live multi-camera broadcasts, oversee YouTube and podcast distribution, manage a Jr. Producer on social cutdown and distribution, and partner with on-air talent and creative leads to deliver a high-volume content slate.
Core responsibilities
- Show Production: Own the full production cycle for Check the Mic, including rundowns, graphic creation, guest coordination, sponsorship integration, and YouTube and RSS publishing.
- Live Studio Operation: Operate 3x/week (M, W, Th), 3-hour livestreams in-studio using vMix and YouTube Studio, plus additional livestreams and recordings as needed.
- Equipment Setup: Set up, operate, and maintain studio equipment, including lights, cameras, audio, and live production software.
- YouTube and Distribution: Manage Check the Mic’s YouTube Studio, including publication of 10+ VODs and Shorts per week in coordination with the Jr. Producer.
- Team Management: Manage the Jr. Producer, overseeing social cutdown and distribution strategy across platforms.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5+ years in digital production, with a track record of running a studio production and maintaining an editorial calendar.
- Talent Management: Demonstrated experience managing talent and coordinating across on-air, remote, and creative teams.
- Platform Expertise: Deep familiarity with YouTube Studio and podcast analytics.
- Industry Knowledge: Genuine interest in and current knowledge of the NFL media landscape.
Nice to Have
- Software Fluency: Experience with vMix, StreamYard, Riverside, and Adobe Premiere.
- Guest Booking: Experience booking a recurring slate of high-profile guests.
- Design Skills: Graphic design abilities in Canva and/or Photoshop.
The pay range for this role is:
30 - 40 USD per hour(Cincinnati, OH)
