- Lead analytical frameworks for hardship programs, settlements, and modification strategies, ensuring optimal balance between recovery and customer outcomes.
- Define and govern vendor and third-party collections strategy, including placement timing, performance management, and KPI frameworks to maximize net recovery.
- Develop settlement and litigation strategies based on risk segmentation, balance tiers, and expected recovery value, including SMB owner liability considerations.
- Own charge-off policy, recovery forecasting, and loss curve modeling across vintages, channels, and portfolio segments.

- Partner with cross-functional teams including credit risk, finance, legal, compliance, and operations to align collections strategy with broader risk and business objectives.

- Strong quantitative skills with proficiency in SQL and either Python or R for building and analyzing risk and recovery models.
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks impacting collections, including FDCPA, Reg F, UDAAP, and related compliance standards.
- Experience working with SMB or business lending portfolios and understanding unique small business credit dynamics.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to design scalable collections frameworks in high-growth environments.
