This leadership role sits at the intersection of strategy, data, and performance marketing, driving integrated paid media programs that deliver measurable business impact for a diverse portfolio of clients. You will lead the development of full-funnel media strategies across channels such as paid search, paid social, programmatic, video, and display, ensuring alignment with broader marketing and business objectives. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, you will translate complex data and insights into compelling narratives that influence decision-making at the C-suite level. The role also involves shaping media investment strategies, optimizing performance, and identifying new growth opportunities across accounts. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional specialists to deliver innovative, scalable, and ROI-driven campaigns. - Lead the development and execution of integrated paid media strategies across multiple channels, ensuring alignment with client business goals and performance targets.
- Design full-funnel media plans, budget allocations, and forecasting models that drive measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to build cohesive, cross-channel marketing strategies.
- Analyze market trends, audience insights, and performance data to identify optimization and growth opportunities.
- Oversee media investment strategy across paid search, paid social, programmatic, digital video, and other performance channels.
- Translate complex data and strategic insights into clear, compelling recommendations for senior client stakeholders.
- Contribute to pitches, renewals, and new business development initiatives with high-level strategic input.
- Mentor and support internal teams, fostering best practices in paid media strategy and execution.
- 8+ years of experience in digital marketing strategy with a strong focus on paid media channels such as search, social, programmatic, and analytics.
- Proven experience designing and delivering integrated, performance-driven media strategies across diverse client portfolios.
- Strong ability to build, present, and defend strategic media recommendations to senior and executive-level stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing ecosystems, audience targeting, and full-funnel performance strategies.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data and research into actionable insights.
- Experience working in an agency environment managing multiple clients and complex media campaigns.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Leadership experience with the ability to mentor teams and contribute to strategic direction.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, SA360, Campaign Manager, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Competitive base salary range of CAD $95,000 – $115,000, depending on experience and skills.
