Reprsentant du service la clientle / Customer Service Representative (contrat de 6 mois / 6-month term)
Under the authority of the Branch Manager, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for various operational tasks related to order management and billing. The incumbent must maintain positive relationships and provide consistent, high-level support to AlumaSafway customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Answer customer calls regarding scaffold rentals and sales while providing outstanding customer service.
- Welcome customers, assess their needs, and review rental or sales equipment using the integrated management system.
- Coordinate rental requests with the Estimation Department and prepare delivery and return slips.
- Process equipment returns by verifying quantities, assessing damages, and coordinating resolutions for missing or damaged materials with customers and the Billing Department.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding deliveries, returns, and inventory transfers while updating information in the integrated management system.
- Perform inventory counts and participate in annual inventory activities.
- Manage periodic and project-based billing, enter invoices, and maintain project budget data in the computer system.
- Update and archive customer files, prepare billing reports, and support the team with administrative tasks.
- Enter CCQ employee hours into the timekeeping system and coordinate payroll-related adjustments and data compliance.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure adherence to established procedures and operational efficiency.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
What You Bring:
- Diploma or college-level education (DEP, AEC, or DEC) in Accounting or a related field.
- 25 years of relevant experience in billing, accounting, or customer service.
- Experience working in a project-based accounting environment and/or the equipment rental industry is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proactive, adaptable, and capable of managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
