Insituform Technologies, LLC is looking for experienced Material Handlers to join our team in Cedar City, UT. As a Material Handler in our Wet Out Facility, you will be responsible for safely receiving, moving, storing, and preparing materials used in the manufacturing of Cure-In-Place Pipe (CIPP). This role involves operating material handling equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring materials are available to support production according to customer specifications and company standards.
We are currently offering a limited-time sign-on bonus of $4,000 for new hires with a valid CDL license, and sign-on bonuses for new hires without a current CDL license are also available at a reduced amount. New employees who meet the criteria outlined in our sign-on bonus program will be eligible for the full payout.
The starting pay is $20.66 per hour and will increase based on the shift schedule and if a valid Class A or B CDL license is held. We offer 100% paid on-the-job training!

Responsibilities:
The Material Handler must adhere to all safety, health, attendance, and code of conduct policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook. The Material Handler will be required to perform, but not limited to, the following:
- Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
- Gain an overall understanding of the entire sewing process and knowledge of warehouse.
- Minimum training time for Material Handlers is ninety (90) days.
- Assist in maintaining warehouse, rotating inventory, shipping and receiving goods.
- Must perform safety inspections and maintain forklifts.
- Must follow all safety procedures and company polices.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Physical Demands: In the performance of duties for this position, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stretch, and/or crawl and lift (up to 50 lbs.). Operate machine tools where a machine time exceeds the handling time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Work Environment: Regularly works near moving mechanical parts. Occasionally works in high, precarious places. Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Must deal with propane flame tanks, scissors, and hand tools. May be slightly dirty or involve occasional exposure to removal of trash along. Climate change within facility of moving to/from climate-controlled areas (warehouse could be hot or cold based on external weather conditions). Noise level is usually moderate.
Qualifications:
For the successful performance of this position, an individual must be able to achieve and/or perform the essential duties of the position. - Verifiable high School diploma or GED required
- At least 2 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid forklift license.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to make simple machine set-ups using measuring instruments such as scaler, micrometers, tape measure, etc.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Continuous mental and visual attention where the flow of work is repetitive, or the operation requires constant alertness.
- Must have adequate driving skills and understand the flow of the entire operation.
