About This Position
Incumbents serve as a college and/or community contact person for specific program(s), assist with the promotion and delivery of its services, assist with program management functions such as scheduling facilities, coordinating resources, maintaining program data, and preparing/disseminating program information.
- Serves as the primary contact for MCC Foundation scholarship programs, providing timely and accurate information to students, staff, faculty, and external stakeholders via phone, email, and in-person communication.
- Serves as the point of contact for scholarship operations in partnership with the MCC Financial Aid Offices across the District, ensuring timely and accurate awarding, fund tracking, and compliance with donor and institutional guidelines.
- Coordinates the delivery and promotion of MCC Foundation scholarships, including collaboration with MCC Financial Aid, Student Services and Marketing & Communications, development of promotional materials, and execution of targeted outreach campaigns using platforms such as Scholarship Universe and Raiser’s Edge to increase engagement and ensure cohesive program delivery and student support through Foundation funds.
- Serves as a key user and resource for MCC Foundation software platforms, including Scholarship Universe and Raiser’s Edge, to manage scholarship application data, student outreach, and donor records.
- Serves as the originator for the preparation, maintenance, and analysis of scholarship records, reports, fund criteria sheets, and data logs to support scholarship operations.
- Assists with the planning, coordination, and execution of donor engagement and student scholarship recognition events, serving as the liaison with campus departments and external partners to ensure successful experiences for all parties involved.
- Serves as the lead in overseeing project timelines and administrative workflows related to scholarship and grant-funded initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance overall program effectiveness.
- Supports the MCC Foundation’s grant compliance efforts through coordination of outcome tracking, documentation, and reporting in partnership with campus project leads and external funders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- One (1) year experience in scholarship programs, financial aid, or student services in higher education or related nonprofit experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree

- Skilled in utilizing communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, and others sufficient to exchange or convey information.
Physical Requirements:
Positions in this class typically require: feeling, grasping, hearing, fingering, reaching, repetitive motion, standing, talking, visual acuity, and walking. The work is sedentary work which requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly.
