Summary

Manages groups of production employees in order to meet goals in a timely manner by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Examines trays of plants to ensure quality products are being produced.

• Maintains product supply for production workers.
• Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
• Adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
• Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
• Maintains time and production records. Performs activities of workers supervised.
• Trains new employees and upcoming leaders.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Aids in supervising 4-20 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and culture. Responsibilities include training employees; assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems as needed.

Starting $20.75/hr

• Ability to speak Spanish preferred
• Manufacturing plants in processing department
• Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanner
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to motivate and inspire excellence in others
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
