About This Position
BACKGROUND REQUIRED: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist for up to 12 – hour shift Adjust, calibrate and test equipment at the beginning of every shift to ensure proper pressure, speed, temperature and general operation. Set the dials and controls on the machine to ensure that the created product is the right size, shape and thickness Measure and orientation test it to make sure sheet conforms to the requested specifications. Follow standardized work instructions Fully participate in and support the Corvac Quality System Ensuring that the sheet has no defects and meets quality standards Complete accurate documentation for all required areas per shift Maintain a safe, well organized and efficient work area Perform PM’s as required
Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
40 hours per week plus occasional overtime.
- High School Diploma / GED preferred
- 2 years’ plastics experience required
- 2 years of supervision experience
- Must have standard knowledge in plastics and extrusion
- Mathematical & Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to use and read measuring devices
- Solid technical skills
- Must be able to acquire a HILO license
SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Use of Microsoft office products
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to use various hand tools
- Ability to work independently
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
40 hours per week plus occasional overtime.
