Position Summary:
This full-time or part-time position supports the work of the YMCA, a leading nonprofit to strengthen the community. As a member of the CFO's team, the position provides services to both the Boothbay Region and the Central Lincoln County YMCAs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works closely with the Department Director to promote healthy living, social responsibility, and youth development.
- Works closely with the Department Director to manage the Central Lincoln County YMCA's accounts payables process, ensuring internal controls are robust and in compliance with policies and procedures.
- Interfaces with CEO, CFO, other Directors, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate payment of bills.
- Manages weekly deposits and financial inquiries.
- Assists Directors and staff with accounts payable, vendor, and cyber security management processes, projects, and strategic initiatives.
- Identifies opportunities for efficiency, enhanced control, reduced operational risk, and improved transparency of the accounts payable and vendor management process.
- Assists CFO with the administration of the Boothbay and CLC YMCA's cyber defense program including identifying and closing control gaps, coordinating with the Y's technology consultant, administering the password manager software, and training staff on software.
- Assists Department Director and colleagues with other administrative support such as filing and automating processing as needed.
- Builds effective, authentic relationships with staff, participants, and community partners and connects them to the YMCA.
- As a Mandated Reporter, recognizes signs of abuse or neglect and reports to supervisor and the appropriate authorities.

- The campus facility is open early mornings, evenings, and weekends and the job may require attendance outside of regular business hours (9am – 5pm).
- The noise level can be all volumes.
Essential Experience and Skill requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
- Team player, with superb interpersonal skills. An ability to work with co-workers and the public in a positive and friendly manner and resolve conflicts as needed.
- Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, work independently, and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
- General computer skills with the ability to effectively learn and use new software.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record with access to personal vehicle preferred.
Essential Education Requirements:
- High School degree or GED or working towards completion of high school.
