Campground Maintenance and Operations Associate

Join our team as a Campground Maintenance and Operations Associate, where you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for our guests. This position offers a dynamic work experience, combining maintenance duties with guest service support, ideal for individuals who enjoy outdoor work and maintaining high standards of campground operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the campground, including raking campsites for turnover and ensuring compliance with campground rules

- Monitor and maintain bathroom facilities, including replacing amenities and ensuring showers are functioning properly

- Check and service generators to ensure reliable power supply

- Assist in repairing and maintaining areas around the campground as needed

- Support marina operations by assisting with boat and dock rentals, fueling boats, and ensuring rental equipment is in good condition

- Help with weekly and monthly maintenance tasks to keep the campground and marina facilities in optimal condition

- Provide excellent customer service to campers and marina guests, addressing their needs and inquiries

- Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

- Prior experience in campground or outdoor maintenance preferred

- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems

- Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Good communication skills and a friendly, helpful attitude

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate boats and fueling equipment

- Able to lift 50lbs

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in grounds maintenance preferred

- Ability to operate and maintain grounds equipment

- Knowledge of plant care and maintenance

- Physical ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
