Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). The ideal candidate will support the pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in prescription processing and preparation without exercising professional judgment.
- Accurately enter prescription, patient, and insurance information into pharmacy systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain medication inventory, including ordering, stocking, rotation, and expiration monitoring.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
- Support 340B drug pricing program activities, including compliance documentation, and audits, as assigned.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication management.
- Participate in patient education initiatives regarding medication use and safety.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the KY Board of Pharmacy.
- Basic knowledge of pharmacy calculations, dosage forms, and medical terminology.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Abilit to work accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing.
- Knowledge of pharmacy software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Commitment to providing compassionate care to a diverse patient population.
