Location: Monroeville, PA
Schedule: Full Time | 1st shift | 4 Ten Hour Shifts Per Week, typical start time is between 7am & 9am
Compensation: $19-26 /hr Depending On Experience | $1500 Hiring Bonus!

- Assist with surgical admissions, patient assessments, and client communication to ensure a seamless surgical experience.
- Support surgical consultations and recheck appointments by preparing patients, obtaining radiographs, and assisting with procedures.
- Monitor anesthesia, patient vitals, and recovery to ensure the safety and comfort of every patient.
- Perform technical skills including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and advanced nursing care.
- Serve as a sterile assistant and scrub technician while maintaining strict aseptic technique throughout surgical procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records, treatment charges, and discharge documentation.
- Educate clients on post-operative care and discharge instructions to support successful recoveries at home.
- Provide compassionate nursing care and advocate for patients throughout their surgical journey.
- Assist with the care of hospitalized and emergency transfer patients as needed.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, veterinarians, and fellow technicians to deliver exceptional specialty patient care.
- Veterinary Technician License (LVT, CVT, or RVT) preferred, but not required
- Foundational veterinary knowledge, including patient restraint, triage, imaging, laboratory skills, and venipuncture.
- Previous experience in anesthesia or surgical support is a plus—but not essential.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to stay calm and organized under pressure.
- Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus.
