Job Description
Virginia Community Healthcare Association is looking for a Family NP to support patients and the communities south of Richmond, VA. Come do great work, help good people, and help drive the mission in Central Virginia!

This is an opportunity to provide meaningful, community-based care in a setting where access matters. You’ll be part of a mission-driven team working to ensure patients—regardless of background—receive high-quality, compassionate care.
What You’ll Do:
Provide full-scope primary care (assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up)
Manage acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan
Prescribe medications and order/interpret labs and imaging
Collaborate with physicians and care teams in a team-based model
Support preventive care (screenings, immunizations, patient education)
Refer patients to specialty care when needed
What Your Day Looks Like:
Work alongside a supportive clinical team
Focus on patient care—not just volume
Use an EHR for documentation and care coordination
Participate in shared after-hours or call coverage (rotated)
What We’re Looking For:
Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Virginia
Experience in primary care, community health, or similar setting preferred
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
