We are currently looking for a Junior AI Engineer who will be integral to driving high-level performance across Lovehoney Group. Partnering directly with the Head of AI, your focus will be on developing AI Applications. In this role, you will combine your appreciation for Technology with your capacity for creative AI Solutions. You will develop skills crucial to advancing in a competitive, fast-paced retail sector, all within a company that prizes dedication and results. What you will do

• Build AI-Powered Solutions

Assist in developing and implementing LLM-based applications, learning advanced prompting techniques and system design patterns Support the research and prototyping of new AI methodologies under senior guidance Contribute to building RAG systems for departmental information management needs

• Support Process Automation

Help develop automated workflows and AI agents using platforms like ChatGPT Agents, n8n, or similar tools Assist in identifying and implementing automation opportunities for routine business tasks

• Contribute to AI Product Development

Support the development lifecycle of AI products from prototype to deploymentCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI solutionsHelp maintain and improve reporting systems and evaluation metricsWhat you should bring

• Technical Foundation

Solid Python programming skills with exposure to ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar)Basic understanding of LLM concepts and applicationsFamiliarity with data querying and manipulation using SQLExperience or willingness to learn data warehouse/lake technologies (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar)

• AI-Assisted Development

Experience with or strong interest in AI-enhanced development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar)Enthusiasm for leveraging AI to improve coding efficiency and qualityOpenness to adopting new AI-powered development practices

• Version Control and Collaboration

Working knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflowsExperience with platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or BitbucketUnderstanding of basic branching, pull requests, and code review processes

• Supporting Technologies (Exposure or Willingness to Learn)

Basic understanding of containerization (Docker or similar)Familiarity with cloud platforms and servicesInterest in workflow automation tools and their applications
