Position Summary
Madison Medical is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support a high volume physician-led multispecialty practice. This role connects patients, providers, and internal departments to ensure strong patient experience and efficient daily operations. This is a structured, high accountability role for someone who works well in fast paced clinical environments. The position begins with front facing patient operations and may expand into broader coordination responsibilities based on performance. This is not a passive or basic customer service role.

Required Work Schedule
This position requires strict schedule reliability and rotating weekend availability. The schedule is fixed.
Monday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Tuesday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Wednesday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Thursday 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM split shifts
Friday 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM
Saturday 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM rotating
Consistent attendance and punctuality are required.
Core Responsibilities
Serve as primary point of contact for new and returning patients
Manage provider schedules and patient appointments
Oversee front desk operations including check in and check out
Coordinate patient onboarding and follow up care plans
Educate patients on insurance benefits and out of network coverage
Coordinate internal and external referrals with accurate documentation
Maintain documentation in CureMD
Communicate using Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and RingCentral
Track patient progress using internal systems
Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and billing teams
Maintain professionalism and discretion with sensitive information
Remain calm and solution focused in high volume situations
Qualifications
Minimum 1 to 2 years of patient facing experience in a hospital, private practice, or multidisciplinary medical setting
Knowledge of insurance benefits and out of network models preferred
Experience coordinating referrals and patient scheduling
Comfortable using EMR systems and Microsoft Teams
Strong communication and organizational skills
