The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Job Overview:
Delivers direct clinical services, supervises assigned staff, provides day-to-day administrative management and coordinates all aspects of a defined unit within the Behavioral Health program.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology (doctorate) or Social work with a current NJ License (LPC, LCSW).
- Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience with children/adolescents in a behavioral health context and 1 year of supervisory experience in some aspect.
- Valid NJ Driver’s License
- CCS Preferred
- Preferred experience working with school systems
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills a must

Essential Functions:
- Ensures that program/unit/activities operate as planned and client services are delivered in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Assigns/directs staff on a daily basis as indicated. Manages call outs/vacations by assigning staff.
- Monitors program/unit/activity to ensure compliance with schedule. Meets productivity assignments.
- Ensures that needed supplies/resources are available for unit operation and prepares P.O.’s when necessary.
- Prepares and submits monthly statistical reports.
- Collects data for monthly QA/PI/UR reports as delegated.
- Provides documented clinical supervision of assigned staff.
- Ensures that clinical charts are appropriately documented; ensures chart compliance with relevant Policies and Procedures, insurance and regulatory standards.
- Makes hiring/termination recommendations to Program Director, initiates disciplinary action and evaluation reviews.
- Monitors all client treatment plans and intervenes when required.
