Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Associate is a recruiting-focused role responsible for proactively sourcing, engaging, and supporting the hiring of salaried talent across Opaa! Food Management. This position plays a key role in building strong talent pipelines, supporting full-cycle recruiting activities, and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience. In addition to hands-on recruiting and sourcing, this role supports recruiting operations, systems administration, and talent initiatives. ?Functions of the Job
Recruiting & Sourcing
- Proactively source, identify, and engage qualified candidates for salaried roles using job boards, databases, social media, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for high-volume and hard-to-fill positions.
- Conduct initial candidate outreach, screening coordination, and candidate engagement to drive strong hiring funnels.
- Partner closely with Hiring Managers to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities.
- Support full-cycle recruiting activities including scheduling interviews, coordinating feedback, and moving candidates through the hiring process.
- Maintain consistent candidate communication to ensure a positive and timely experience throughout the recruiting lifecycle.
- Assist in extending verbal and written offers under the direction of the recruiting team.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates, Recruiters, and Hiring Managers to ensure a seamless and high-quality experience.
- Manage interview logistics including scheduling, confirmations, and candidate communication.
- Coordinate travel and accommodations for candidates and interviewers as needed.
- Support recruiting events, career fairs, hiring blitzes, and other talent attraction initiatives.
- Support documentation of recruiting processes, workflows, and best practices.
- Support recruiting marketing efforts including job postings, outreach campaigns, and talent attraction initiatives.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Opaa! Food Management in all candidate and external interactions.
- Ensure a high-quality candidate experience through timely communication, professionalism, and follow-through.
- Participate in initiatives that enhance Opaa!'s employer brand and visibility in key markets
- Ensure recruiting practices comply with company policies, equal employment opportunity guidelines, and applicable labor laws.
Administration
- Maintain accurate and timely data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including candidate updates, interview outcomes, and workflow progression.
- Assist with administration and troubleshooting of ATS and onboarding systems, including managing hiring-related tickets.
- Create and support recruiting reports, dashboards, and metrics to track sourcing effectiveness, pipeline health, and hiring progress.
- Conduct routine audits of recruiting data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity.
- Support talent management initiatives such as talent reviews, succession planning, and talent profiles.
- Assist in cross-functional HR and Talent projects as assigned.
- Support internal events such as Leadership Conference, including logistics, scheduling, and coordination.
- Ensure confidentiality of all candidate, employee, and company information at all times.
- Participate in meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, work experience, internships, leadership roles or campus involvement.
- Previous professional experience in customer service, administration, hospitality, retail, operations, internships, student organizations or fast-paced environments preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and engage others professionally.
- Strong customer service mindset and ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment.
- Data-minded with ability to track, report, and interpret recruiting metrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
