Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Yorktown, Indiana at Heritage Assisted Living - Yorktown

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for resident care, strive to providing high-quality services and must have a current copy of their CPR and First Aide certification.

Duties

• Provide direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
• Assist residents with ADL's (activities of daily living) and personal care; including, but not limited to, bathing, grooming, meal assistance
• Monitor/Record/Report Vital signs
• Support residents in Assisted Living and specialized units such as Memory Care
• Assists with healthcare procedures as necessary within state regulations
• Utilize electronic medical record efficiently and properly
• Communicate appropriately with residents, resident families, and staff member
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents

Requirements:

• Certified Nursing Assistant in the state for which you are applying
• Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
• Experience in senior living, skilled nursing, or caregiving, is preferred, not required
• Ability to provide compassionate care
• Current CPR/First Aide certification preferred *if not certified, willing to obtain through the company
• Ability to commute to Greenfield, IN 46140

Physical Requirements:

• Job may require sitting, standing, and walking regularly
• Lift/move 50+ lbs.
