Job Description

Position Description: Vector Systems Inc is seeking a Project Manager. We are a manufacturer of industrial engineer to order packaged and skidded equipment. An understanding of mechanical systems, piping and instrument diagrams, and the ability to understand mechanical & fabrication drawings is highly desired.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage project files
  • Coordinate between engineering/sales/quality departments, customer, vendors and inspections as required for the project
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the customer requirements and the project specifications
  • Maintain records of all communications during the project to include:
  • Emails
  • Marked up drawings
  • Purchase orders
  • Project schedules
  • Document transmittal to and from the Customer
  • Change orders and revisions
  • Project Procurement; using material take offs and planning for coordination of sub-contractors and material deliveries
  • Keep project on schedule
  • Project budgets and comparing to sales materials estimates
  • Work with manufacturing personnel to ensure project specifications are communicated
  • Update the company controller when billable milestones have been achieved
  • Maintain project documents and records as required
  • Excellent Communication skills with external Customers is vital to success in this position
  • Make project decisions and recommendations to management about schedules, prioritization, and resource allocation with input from others as needed

Salary is DOE, please submit desired range.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

  • Associate (Preferred)
