Job Description
The Manager of National Sales is responsible for driving national sales success through direct selling, smart account coordination, and strong execution support. You partner closely with national and property-level teams to keep accounts on track, processes consistent, and revenue opportunities maximized. This role blends hands-on sales execution with key administrative support, ensuring smooth, reliable performance across the portfolio.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors in Hospitality, Business, or Marketing preferred; advanced degree a plus
- 5+ years in hotel sales, including multi-property or national account management
- Proven ability to drive sales, manage pipelines, and hit revenue targets
- Strong relationship builder with experience in contracts, RFPs, and market strategy
- Proficient in CRM/PMS tools and able to lead and align sales teams across locations
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
National Account & Revenue Management
- Support national and global accounts through follow-up, coordination, and service.
- Manage a personal book of business, including solicitation, follow-up, and closing support.
- Coordinate group and transient bookings to maximize revenue.
- Partner with Directors of National Sales on national lead activity and initiatives.
Client Engagement & Sales Execution
- Participate in sales calls, presentations, site visits, and client meetings.
- Support market blitzes, promotions, and national lead programs.
- Serve as liaison between national accounts and property sales teams.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth communication and execution.
Sales Operations, Reporting & Compliance
- Oversee daily sales administration: lead tracking, CRM accuracy, account setup, contracting.
- Prepare sales reports, production updates, and performance tracking.
- Maintain organized records, calendars, and shared resources.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, certifications, and assigned duties.
