Pediatric Associates is seeking a Full-time Outpatient Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our practice in Sacramento, CA.

Position Overview:

  • Full-time - 5 day work week with no weekends
  • No call schedule
  • EMR: eClinical Works
  • This location offers training through our PediPlus Program - this program includes mentorship, didactics and chart review to set you up for success to practice autonomously. To be considered you must have experience in pediatrics as an RN or Physician Assistant.
  • May 18, 2026 start date

Experience:

  • Experience working in general pediatrics

Education, Licensure & Certification:

  • Successful completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
  • Physician Assistants must have passed the NCCPA certification exam
  • Nurse Practitioners graduating after July 1, 2006, must be board certified
  • Nurse Practitioners must be certified by the ANCC or PNCB
  • Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of California
  • Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of California
  • Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required

The expected base salary range for this position located in California is $130,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Pediatric Associates offers are based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate’s education, work experience, and certifications, all of which are dependent on the requirements of the specific role. In addition to base salary, the Pediatrics Associates Family of Companies and its affiliates offers a comprehensive benefits package, potential incentive and recognition programs, and retirement planning (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements based on position, and division).
