Nurse Practitioner at Ladgov Corporation – Cherokee, North Carolina

Position: On-Site Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
Location: Oconaluftee Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center, Cherokee, NC
Schedule: 1–2 days per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Conduct health screenings, physical exams, and immunizations.

• Diagnose and treat minor and acute illnesses.

• Develop care and management plans for chronic health conditions.

• Prescribe and manage medications under physician supervision.

• Record all health encounters in the Student Health Record (SHR) promptly and accurately.

• Provide health education and counseling to students on wellness, prevention, and employability.

• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license (unrestricted) in North Carolina.

• Certification from a recognized professional board (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
